Captain- One of the main factors in Joe joining the Fire Department was the fact his father coded at his residence and Joe’s mother and sister Shelly started CPR. Steve Jones arrived with O2 and they revived his Dad who went on to live several more years. He decided right then he wanted to learn what to do in those situations. He later went on to EMT school and followed that with Paramedic School.
